This forms part of the satisfaction and laser edged focus that this modality brings to the corporate world, which has long suffered from an over the top academic approach. It is not uncommon to actually hear the audible 'sigh of relief' from participants when they realise they are actually going to learn something useful, and enjoyable, and not be subjected to yet another time wasting jargon soaked Power Point jockey. By using Peter Dawson's Freestyle NLP we are able to literally "pull back the curtain" on human communication and thinking to give graduates of our programmes greater awareness and skills on what is really going on and what to do about it. Presentation SkillsThis is a fairly comprehensive program that looks at design techniques, stage craft, learning strategies, personalities and learning and much more. Many of the techniques taught aren't known outside of the NLP Trainers world. Strategic Influencing PatternsThese include extraordinarily effective language patterns, born out of hypnotic communication strategies, as well as cultural insights as to what really works in an English speaking society. There are many insights to be gained as to how to adapt your style based on the type of client and the phase of the relationship. This NLP Corporate program can get as sophisticated as you like – a Barrister would kill for these skills – to basic relationship building, up-selling and cross-selling skills for call centres. Coaching SkillsAs opposed to the above mentioned Executive Coaching, this program is more about teaching your managers advanced coaching skills for their own staff management. This tends to be a balance between group training sessions and one on one mentoring as they interact with their own staff. As with all our NLP Corporate programs there is a reasonable emphasis on personalizing these skills for each individual. I am not a fan of the rigid formula / technique approach to management, particularly in the chaotic times we are living in. There are certain processes that are easy to learn that make these moments seem natural, relaxed and impactful. Charisma actually is a skill that anyone can learn and tailor to effect. This is tuned to both the personalities involved and the demands of the situation. Along with this there are many skills to learn from a design and a profiling perspective. It isn’t just what you are saying but who are you saying it too and for what purpose. In other words, a skilled public speaker would never deliver the same content twice in the same way. There will always be some nuances and some adjustments – usually in the moment of presenting. This is true skill. SalesAgain, this program draws a lot from the insights that come from hypnotic communication strategies. It is still important to understand the basic anatomy of a sale from ascertaining needs, discerning features from benefits and having a repertoire of closing patterns. Of a far higher order though is learning how to dynamically profile your prospect so you know exactly how to present your content. This comes down to knowing exactly what hand gesture to use with exactly what phrase and tone of voice. These NLP Corporate skills are very subtle and highly sophisticated. The emotional psychology of the selling process is also covered. We specialize in them and they extend way beyond the sales arena. Stress ManagementThis has become one our most important and sought after NLP Corporate programs. The insurance costs from this one aspect alone are enormous and, in some cases, crippling. We teach internal mental strategies as well as subtle physical exercises to control stress. These can be maintained throughout the day, even in real time working circumstances, from the CEO to the staff on the desk in the lobby. Your staff will be as fresh at the end of the day as at the beginning. Interestingly, when there is 'free' time in our other NLP Corporate programs and the participants are asked what they would like to do these Stress Management skills are the most requested. Many of these techniques were developed while working with athletes at the Olympic and World Championship level and as such lend themselves to elite performance strategies. LeadershipIt is important to understand the styles of leadership that are available and where they best fit. Some personalities are more aligned with a style of leadership than others. It is my intention with this course to provide participants with a way to create the appropriate leadership style that works best for a given situation rather than pull from a pre-existing teledex. When do you empower your people, when do you provide visionary leadership, when do you withdraw, how do you change under stressful situations as opposed to social and so on. All you have is the auditory component which demands forensic calibration skills of the person on the other end of the phone as well as Oscar winning capacity and subtlety with your voice. It is never too late.Managing Successful MeetingsEveryone has suffered through a painful wasteful meeting that went way off track and over time. We cover nice ways of avoiding this while also avoiding the ‘shoot the messenger’ syndrome. Call Center StrategiesThis deserves its own training. An operator within a call center actually requires high level skills with very little time to implement them. A large part of this is also managing the culture within the center – 'on the ground' management skills really. There needs to be a balance with this one from setting personal accountability – that is measurable – to enrolling and motivating the operators and providing them with exciting and engaging skills. Like our others, this NLP Corporate program can instantly raise profits. Creative Thinking SkillsI believe that any investment in the enhancement of your people comes back a hundred fold. This is another program where understanding the ‘biology’ of learning is important. There are life changing insights with this one. If you know how to employ some of the strategies covered here you can become free of your habituated ways of thinking and discover new ways of approaching your situations. Conflict ResolutionThere is no surer way to destroy a team than to leave unresolved conflict unattended to. It is far more effective to resolve situations than to clean them up afterwards. This requires high level skill and a few basic strategies. AssertivenessThis is an important skill for those who don’t do it well. If someone under-does this skill they tend to become a doormat and if someone over-does it they tend to be perceived as a bully. In both these situations it is relatively easy to provide the skills. In some situations the ‘bully’ version doesn’t want to change in which case see ‘Conflict Resolution’ above. Team BuildingThere are many ways to approach this. A common approach is the trip away to a center away from work. This can be effective if facilitated well. I find more and more these days though, this is a luxury a lot of companies can no longer afford. There are still ways of achieving this on site. It can even be attended to under the guise of another NLP Corporate training – a sales training for example. Decision MakingAll of us at some time would love the opportunity of ‘having that moment all over again’. This program is designed to minimize those moments. It has been said that most important decisions are made with insufficient information. In that case you better have a pretty good strategy. A good decision making strategy usually entails managing a set of comparisons. The good decision makers tend to be able to do this internally, lightning quick.
